Lemon Book Review - "Bomaby Rains,Bombay Girls"

This week for Lemon Book Review I have choose a book "Bombay Rains,Bombay Girls" written by Anirban Bose.Before beginning the review i should kick myself for the delay that i did in reading this gigantic,witty book. I Purchased this book in the month of october last year i.e. 2008. Usually when a book comes to my bookself is been done in a week but this took a bit longer. In this process of one year i hae started this book thrice but read only first 5-6 pages coz its vocabulary was going over my small head, but this time the situation was different was not having any book to read so finally i took a dictionary and went for reading it. The result is infront of you all i finished in rocking 2 days. I should be getting booker prize for reading ....ha ha ha..

Bombay Rain,Bombay Girls is a story of Adi..Adhiyaman Bhatt brat from small town Ranchi who just passed his school and ready to enter the india's one of the prestigious medical college in Mumbai. Book is a journey of a simple small town boy to become something in the medical field. It's a journey how he transform a simple guy to complez person in this concrete jungle. The ups and downs thats comes in a life of college going person is been show in a rarely great manner in this book. The journey eery person can relate to the incidents which is been menion is quite linked with yourself as i was engrossing more and more i was quite easily able to relate myslef to the life of Adi. The friends presence, parents expectation,College nuisance,life in a college, Exam pressure, Maggi at Night,Coffe made during exams waking till 6 in morning,etc all the moments u have must read in a various fiction book written on college life but this stand apart because the way it is been presented. The character like of Toshi,Rajeevm,Isha,Renuka,Pheru,etc you will be able to relate to people present around you.

One thing to say Medical terms are really tough even to read it was like a big task. I salute to Doctor,nurses,componder and whosever related to medical field. This is the first book i came across which was having medical as a background and i must say he quiet nicely used the situation himself being a doctor helped the writer morever. Bombay Rain,Bombay Girl will appeal to you if your a teenage guy going in college to have a dream,will appeal o you if you have frds and a situation make them against you, will appeal to you if you love a girl, will appeal to you if your life gives you a topsytirvi, will appeal to you more if you are as confuse brat as Adi,and finally will appeal you the most because i suggest you to read. You must read if you haven't smile to the lemons that life give to you,haven't cried remebering how cruel is life to you? haven't spoken to your pals due to busy schedule of life. Go grab this book,sit with a coffee and look into yourself and find another Adhiyaman Bhatt or.....real you...!!

Finally i derived a valid conclusion i hereby confirm that Never ever judge a book by its cover and...... first five pages...!!

Now stop reading this blog go to bookstore and ask for Bombay Rain and Bombay Girls
as it is half of the India going with minimum rainfall...
