After really long time i finally caught with a book. It's been ages since i read a book. Life has really become an unimaginary chaos. Its just seems to be a race track without a finish line. Quite a philosophical line isn't? Well don't be afraid i am not turning another Spiritual Guru. It just i was getting moved by this book called "A Romance with chaos" written by Nishant Kaushik. Nishant has earlier given a reasonably good book named "Watch Out! We are MBA". So the expectation when i bought he book was quite high but as we know books are not be judged from its cover or its author past work. I took this book without expectation as i do to every other book and i must say i was not disappointed with its work. "A Romance with chaos" is a story of Nakul same patrognist who was their in its earlier book but this time as time moves on Nakul is seen in corporate world as one of the rats who is running for what we all run for thats to make life more happy and cheerful and ultimately results seems to be same as every other person face in the corporate world (including me) we go far from what we actually have.
Nakul Kapoor works in an IT company after doing MBA in Marketing. Isn't that funny?? Well its true because many of us do to get high pay package and make compromises early on our carrer and tend to do those thing which we dont like doing and ultimately get tired soon of what we are not happy of doing. Nakul is no different, its just one of us or we can say we are just like Nakul. Book takes us on a roller coaster ride of Nakuls experience in corporate world and its personal life. All the high-low-happy-sad-inspiring-demoralizing shades are perfectly gelled with the story and never let u get bored.
You know successes of writer depends on how well is he is able to connect audience with the story. Hardly 20 pages and you connect with nakul like a mirror image. His life seems to be yours. People, situation is his life seems to same as ours and its not fake at all because everyone of us go through same phase what nakul goes there are ups and there are down but the bright thing is the ""X" factor which make us to bounce back after you are low. Things turn bad to every people is how you face it remarks the excellence of that person. All these things are quite wittily portrayed by the writer in the book.
The story seems to be quite similar to another book "IF God was a Banker" by R.subramanium. It would be unfair on my part if i draw inferences between those two books despite being similar on the story line. As we say every apple has its own taste. I should not take the credit from Nishant Kaushik of wonderfully potraying different shades of person when he jumps into corporate culture once he is out of the college. Every character like Cheapo Choudhary,Vishal,Lekha,Kavya,Kohinoor,Payal and Mehak offcourse seems to be like a living character and your are able to relate to someone around you.
So if you haven't yet started the book go grab and see yourself playing the character of Nakul. You'll love it !!
