A Season of Merger !!

February is always considered as the month of romance, falling leaves, burning candles, walking the aisle with the best friend, in short complete disaster.....ooops sorry chart busters..February is always considered lucky for being in love and even lucky if your getting married in this romantic month.. The reason is quite simple its just has 28 days.....3 days less u usually face the heat...lol

Before beginning my post let me again say sorry to my sweet followers and blogging friends for still following me and commenting despite me not able to show up on your blog...you made me salute you...now the excuse, i am seriously stuck up with work which was followed by weddings of my friends...I hereby take pledge will go through all the exceptional post you put on your blog this weekend and try to mend the things...

To begin with after lot of thinking and pondering, i have finally joined twitter. I would be available @mrlemon86. Hope to catch you all my friends in the new extended world. Coming back to the post, this month is really special for me i had 3 of my really good friends getting married. Now the married brigade has taken all my childhood friends under it the only person who remain is me. One of my bestest friend got married and it was really a wonderful experience seeing my chuddy buddy transforming himself to become a hubby...

The marriage which took place in southern most state of India making me travel nearly 2000 Km just to attend his marriage. It was really an awesome journey make me realize how two people get together to become one....Wait a min....Is this similar to Merger ? This thought make me open my out of the box thinking hat and I set out to think what exactly is marriage on my way back to delhi.

As the flight took off, my mind started thinking what exactly is a marriage? Is it same like merger?? and after giving it a thought for nearly three hours, I realize yes its just so same like Merger.

Merger happens when one company comes up with an idea to to merge with another company, so that synergy created after merger makes 1 + 1 = 3.  Then what happens in marriage, two sweet people decide to spend rest of their life with each other so that their synergy can replace all the sadness and gloominess from each others life. Again her it makes 1+ 1= 3.

The decision of merger is taken by company's management in association with the voting of shareholders whereas in Marriage its again taken by family in consultation with relatives and friends. See again a similarity.....

If the merger is really beneficial, the stock price of the company goes up thus, giving a monetary benefit  while in marriage case people shower the two couples with gifts and blessings...People working in both companies have to adjust culturally with one another, here both the families have to adjust so that new member in family feels same. 

How Similar the life is....its just we need to see the different aspect of different thing in the world and when we analyse them from their root we come to know, its just so simple.

Finally a sudden jilt in the aircraft made me realize that, weather in delhi is bit rainy and its time for landing and wake up from dream and prepare yourself for your job. Phir wahi Investment banking Merger and Acqusition research....OOOPpsss by the way this is not same as marriage......lol...
