Mr Lemon's Travelling Diary - Orchard Hut (Chamba, HP)

“The world is a book and those who do not travel read only one page", said St. Augustine and even i believe it so. Life is itself a complicated machine which take whole life to understand its process and moving from place to place, meeting new people, discovering new places make this process much simpler. Travelling is one of the most important part of my life, i travel a lot and since last two year it has become a routine for various reasons whether for work related travel, family related or soul searching travel. 

I love traveling those places which is unexplored or less heard off. In this course I recently visited a home-stay "Orchard Hut" in the valley of Chamba (Himachal Pradesh). This place is located in the village Chiminu (15 kms from Chamba) from this place i need to trek around 3 km in up in the mountain and by the end of this trekking, i find wat i say as heaven on earth.

Someone said if their is heaven on earth its in Kashmir, I say its here coz i haven't seen Kashmir but i have seen this magnificent place. A place where their is only one noise across the mountains and thats of river Ravi which is flowing across the mountains. 

It a sheer example of greenery which describes the peaceful life. It's a kind of life that is missed a lot in our city centric working life. Here People don't know whats debit and credit, nor they know EPS or P/E of the company but what they know is humanity and peacefulness which i feel does not exist in our life anymore.

Coming back to the place, Orchard Hut is owned by the Mr. Prakash Dhami and family. It was such a wonderful experience living with them for two days. I can say this place is just home away from home. A place to be and peoples to meet. Wonderful Environment, Exceptionally well Hospitality and such equally delicious Food. Due to some urgent work i had to cut short my trip but if chance given i will definitely go back to the real life where we can talk to our soul.

Orchard Hut is made up of eco-logical stuff which not only adore the presence of nature but it help us to connect us with our inner person. A place where Television, Mobile, Laptop are the instrument of alien world where hammock, books and imagination rule our mind and soul resulting in a sweet smiling face.

A place where they grow vegetables for their own consumption and various species of flower that diffuse sweet fragrance around the place which add to lighting up your mind.

A Place I can say worth a visit if you want to connect with yourself, if you want to experience the real you, if you want to gift yourself a much needed smile on your face which has been faded away due to corporate hierarchy, Visit this place because only thing u need to climb here is mountain to reach the heaven......
